Lucky fans who attended coinciding Deadpool events in New York and Los Angeles were treated to an early viewing of the Ryan Reynolds starring movie. Better yet, fans in New York were greeted by Reynolds who introduced the movie, while fans in L.A. had the film introduced by a team of people behind the movie including comic legend Stan Lee.
The early buzz on Twitter is extremely positive with some fans going as far as calling Deadpool the best Marvel movie yet, but take that with a grain of salt. What’s more, fans have confirmed Deadpool has a post-credits scene, which has been commonplace for Disney’s Marvel movies, but not all 20th Century Fox produced movies, so you’ll want to stay in those theater seats until the lights come on.
Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. In addition to Reynolds, it stars Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller and Stefan Kapicic. Deadpool opens in theaters on February 12.
