DC’s new logo features the block-style letters DC within a thin ring, all in a royal blue-hued color. The simpler design is a departure from the “page flip” logo DC was previously using. DC notes that the new logo was created as a celebration of DC brand’s past, present, and future, and the new logo’s resemblance to some of the brand’s more classic identity marks resonates with the notion.
The new logo will first rollout on DC websites, social media channels, video series, and apps, with other content and products to follow. The logo will makes its comic book debut on the cover of DC Universe: Rebirth Special #1 on May 25.
