LexCorp Announces Their New Lex/OS, Security For Everyone

With less than six months to go until the premiere of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. has kicked off a viral marketing campaign for the film. The campaign appears to be focused on Alexander “Lex” Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) and his company LexCorp. It is hard to say at this time if the video is revealing any clues about his role in the film as it is introducing the Lex/OS, an operating system that boasts security and privacy for all.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, will be directed by Zack Snyder, will star Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, along with Laurence Fishburne and Amy Adams reprising their Man of Steel roles. It is slated to arrive in theaters on March 25, 2016.

In addition to the viral marketing video, DC Entertainment has posted a video with costume designer Michael Wilkinson, whom discusses the costumes for Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman from the highly anticipated upcoming movie.

Prime Wars Trilogy

Hasbro is jumping in with both feet when it comes to their Transformers brand. They are bridging the gap between their toys, the IDW Publishing comics series and their other multimedia projects with the Prime Wars Trilogy according to a report at THR.

It started with The Combiner Wars, which is the theme of their current Transformers Generations toy line and the storyline in the IDW comics. This chapter is also extending to the upcoming Machinima Combiner Wars digital series and Activision’s new Transformers Devastation video game as well.

The next chapter in the trilogy will be Titans Return and this will be the focus starting in the fall of 2016. It will then have an untitled third chapter that will close the trilogy in late 2017 or early 2018.

Look for big things over the next two to three years for Transformers!

Oops, X-Men: Apocalypse Plot Revealed

One of 20th Century Fox’s marketing partners let the cat out of the bag today by revealing the plot to the upcoming X-Men sequel, X-Men: Apocalypse, when Mars Chocolates issued a press released about the partnership. So if that kind of thing is what gets you excited, then check it out below.

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-Men: Apocalypse, opening in theaters everywhere May 27, 2016. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse is directed by Bryan Singer, written by Simon Kinberg and stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Ben Hardy, Tye Sherida, Olivia Munn, Lana Condor and Oscar Isaac.
