CW Gives The Flash and iZombie the Green Light, Renews Arrow Too!

television-tv-news-and-talkSome great news today from The CW. They have announced that The Flash and iZombie have been picked up to series. Honestly I don’t think this was much of a surprise. Unless they did a horrible job with the pilot for The Flash, I didn’t think it wouldn’t be picked up. Glad to hear it will be premiering this fall.

Was also announced that iZombie was picked up for series too. This is based on the series published under the DC Comics imprint, Vertigo. The series is being written by Rob Thomas, the creator of Veronica Mars. The premise is about a med student-turned-zombie forced to work in a coroner’s office. So not your typical comic turned live-action material, but should be pretty cool to follow.

Also to absolutely no surprise, Arrow has been picked up for a third season. This news comes before the season 2 finale which is set to premiere next Wednesday. These three DC Comics/Warner Bros. series will join Gotham which is premiering on Fox and Constantine on NBC, for the fall television season. Lots of DC goodness coming our way! (Source: Variety)
