‘Constantine’ Gets A Greenlight For A Pilot

television-tv-news-and-talkApparently, the news of Gotham going to series and the first details of the series wasn’t the only DC/Warner Bros. television news to drop today. Deadline is reporting that NBC has ordered up a pilot for Constantine, a drama based on the DC Comics’ character John Constantine, an enigmatic and irreverent con man-turned-reluctant supernatural detective who defends humanity against the dark forces from beyond.

Cosntantine is the third series to come to television this year, it joins, The Flash at The CW and Gotham at Fox. The pilot will be written and executive produced by Daniel Cerone (The Mentalist EP) and co-written by David S. Goyer (Co-Writer: Man Of Steel, The Dark Knight Rises, The Dark Knight, Batman Begins) Definitely sounds like this year and 2015 are going to be huge for comic book fans with all these TV projects from both DC/Warner Bros. and Marvel.
