ComiXology Introduces Digital Comics Subscription Service

ComiXology LogoComiXology, the iTunes of digital comics, has announced a new subscription service offering unlimited access to thousands of titles in its library.

Dubbed ComiXology Unlimited, the service will grant subscribers unlimited access to digital comics, graphic novels, and manga for $5.99 per month. The service kicks off with a variety of titles and genres some of which include The Walking Dead, Attack on Titan, Hellboy, Adventure Time, Peanuts, Saga, and Transformers. ComiXology Unlimited is also the only subscription service to feature comics from Image Comics and Dark Horse Comics. Comics from Marvel and DC will continue to be sold on ComiXology, but are not part of the unlimited plan, though the service promises to add more titles and in the future.

ComiXology Unlimited is available today on the ComiXology app for Android, iOS, the Amazon Fire Tablet, and on the web at comixology.com. A free 30-day trial is available for those looking to test drive the service before committing.
