Club Nintendo Customer Loyalty Program to Close

Nintendo has announced its customer loyalty program Club Nintendo, where members can earn gifts for purchases they make and by participating in online surveys, will close this summer.

Club Nintendo members can continue to earn points, in the form of “coins,” through March and exchange them until the end of June, when the program officially shuts its doors. Nintendo says they’ll be adding new downloadable games and physical rewards starting in February to allow users to zero out their coin balances.

Although Club Nintendo is closing, Nintendo is preparing a new customer loyalty program for the end of a year.
