Multiple sources are reporting that creator Hajime Isayama and series director Tetsuro Araki have delayed the second season of anime series Attack on Titan.
The duo decided to delay season two’s release because the anime series is only two story arcs behind the manga and releasing the second season now would require almost half a season’s worth of filler episdoes. History hasn’t been kind to filler heavy seasons and story arcs and this undoubtledly played a role in the team’s ultimate decision.
Attack on Titan tells the story of a town of citizens taking refuge behind a walled-off community that protects them from the giants living outside its walls. The anime series debuted in 2013.
