‘Arrow’ Season 3 Brief Description

television-tv-news-and-talkIn a press release from The CW, we get a brief description of Arrow Season 3. The description reveals that things as they are has changed for Oliver Queen/Arrow, whom has gone from a vigilante to a hero. But as we all know, there is no rest for the hero, and we have learned that is never more true in Starling City.

In the aftermath of this victory, Season Three opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow.

I’m going to assume the villain they are referring to is The Count. Season 3 will introduce a new Count, played by Werner Zytle. Arrow returns on Wednesday, October 8th at 8pm EST on The CW.
